The
Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Opening
18th June 2010
For
the first time guests can visit "The Wizarding World of
Harry Potter" and stroll the streets of Hogsmeade,
exploring the sights, sounds and magical wonders therein;
and experience thrilling rides and attractions that bring
Harry Potter and his friends to life.
The signature icon of the park is a massive cliff and castle edifice. Perched atop a steep rock outcrop, it hides a treasure trove of Potter themed secrets (like Dumbledore’s study) and the area’s signature attraction a huge tech motion based ‘flying ‘ ride using a robo-coaster arm to twist and turn through a series of encounters with various Potter villains and creatures. Be prepared to battle Dementors and brave the lair of snake like Basilisks.
There is also;
-
Hogwarts: An Introduction to Magic, a special effects show.
-
Dragons Challenge: Perils aplenty to avoid, multiple drops, twists and near miss encounters (formerly Duelling Dragons)
-
The Flying Hippogriff: An exciting junior size coaster (formerly the Flying Unicorn)
-
Magic Quest: A personal scavenger hunt using magic wands to trigger special effects.
-
Hogsmead Village: The shopping and dining heart of the Wizarding World, featuring the Hogwarts Express and regular snow falls transforming a corner of Florida into
J.K. Rowlings UK-based creation.

biggest rides around.

Aquatica
Introducing Aquatica, where fun is as endless as the sea itself. It's a place the whole family is sure to love.
A waterpark it may be, but it will simply be like no other in the world. Aquatica is inspired by the rugged beauty of the South Sea Islands. In amongst those lush, exotic surroundings, you'll find wide, open white sand beaches, two river rides, two huge wave pools, whimsical animals, 36 water slides, and plenty of spacious areas to relax. It'll be a waterpark that really does have something for everyone.
Aquatica’s signature ride, Dolphin Plunge, will be one of the most unique water rides ever created. Two 300-foot long clear tubes will zoom riders through a 42 foot vertical drop, straight through a crystal blue lagoon - home to our Commerson's dolphins. You'll be able to see them all around as you zip through an underwater section of this amazing ride.
